Changes
I'm in the process of making many changes. My photography image is receiving a makeover! These changes will be incremental because I do not have much time to devote to this process (with 4 little kids to love and care for). I am very excited about it, though!
I attended a phenomenal photography workshop with the renowned Barb Uil of Jinky Art Photography. One of the things I learned was to be more confident while shooting in to direct sunlight. I LOVE IT! As you can see, I took V out and, while she played with her dolly (really her dolly's carriage), I played with my camera.

FIVE!
Our precious, thoughtful, loving, snuggly, compassionate and joyful little R is 5 years old today. If you mention that your feet hurt, she will come and rub them. If you drop something, she rushes over to pick it up for you. If little brother is crying, she's there to comfort him. All things done without asking. She is a treasure in our lives and we anticipate with great pride and joy the lives she will continue to touch as she grows.

Tent City
It has been so unbearably hot, that our girls have had to get pretty creative in order to keep busy inside. Busy they've been, making our formal living room in to tent city.

Two-Wheeled Summer!
R, almost 5, has decided that it is time to remove the training wheels! She is a determined little lady and she took off riding this evening. Her smile of pride is priceless! E decided that this is the summer for her to ride two-wheeled also, and has been for about a month now. It amazes me that the thought of riding without the security of training wheels can be so frightening, but as soon as you get the hang of it, a whole new world opens.

My Daddy
My Daddy had a health scare this weekend, so I thought I'd post a picture of him with my nephew. I can't wait to see (and hug) him tomorrow!
